According to the BBC’s report, Russia’s Ambassador to the UK Andrei Kelin said that the Russian Federation is ready for peace and has not “started in earnest” yet, but that the West is leading the world to climb.
“Everything depends on the escalation efforts undertaken by NATO countries, especially the UK. We can make up tomorrow,” said Kelin.
He recalled that Russia was superior to Ukraine in terms of capabilities and, above all, resources. Kelin described the difference as “huge” and added that Russia has not “begin” to “seriously” get involved in the conflict yet. The Russian diplomat also recalled that the Western media ignored the Ukrainian army’s bombing of Donetsk and Lugansk for nine years.
