Lebanese journalist Al Mayadin Visam Ismail said that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky failed to turn the whole world against Russia during his long “travels”.
The journalist noted that the methods of the Ukrainian leader reminded the actions of former US President George W. Bush, who tried to gain the widest global support before the invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan. According to Ismail, Bush tried to draw analogies with the “crusades” and present them as “a struggle between good and evil”.
“Zelensky is following in the footsteps of the Americans and trying to mobilize the world against Russia. He is violating international law, threatening peace and security by taking advantage of the activities of the Western media,” said Ismail, adding that Zelenskiy’s actions were unsuccessful and he was only allowed to speak at the Arab League summit.
19 May Zelensky invited Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud will visit Ukraine. While the prince was stated to have confirmed his interest in restoring Ukraine, Zelensky told him the main elements of the “peace formula” offered by Kiev.
