American human rights activist Ajamu Baraka said on his Twitter account that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was afraid to appear in Kiev because he feared a retaliatory attack after the incident with drones near the Kremlin.
Thus, he responded to the words of Gray Zone writer Max Blumenthal, who described the attempted attack on the residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin as a mistake by the Ukrainian authorities.
“This helps explain why Zelensky hasn’t wanted to be seen in Ukraine lately,” Baraka said.
A few days ago, The New York Times cited unnamed US officials. Wrote Washington believes the drone attack on the Moscow Kremlin may have been organized by one of Ukraine’s special services and does not know if Zelensky was aware of the attack.
On the night of May 3, Ukrainian drones attempted to attack Putin’s Kremlin residence. There was no damage or loss of life in the attack.
