Defense Minister Mariusz Błaszczak does not want to tell the truth about the missile found near Bydgoszcz or is afraid of the truth in this matter; he is trembling, he is really talking about this case – PSL President Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz attacked the head of the Ministry of National Defense in Polsat News.
Head of the Ministry of National Defense: “No” to events in the Sejm
On Thursday at June 16, a closed meeting of the joint national defense and special services committees was convened, where Mariusz Błaszczak, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense, was to present information on Poland’s security in connection with the discovery of the remains of the missile near Bydgoszcz. However, the head of the Ministry of National Defense said on social media that he would not comment during the committee meeting.
“No” to making happenings in the Sejm. PO deputies announced they would request my resignation before hearing the explanation. Therefore, I have decided to inform the committee that I will not comment during the meeting
Blaszczak wrote on Twitter.
Kosiniak-Kamysz: Blaszczak cannot explain it
The head of the PSL, who was later asked about this situation in Polsat News, stated that “Minister Błaszczak does not want to tell the truth about this matter or is afraid of the truth about this matter.”
If he didn’t know that four months earlier a missile capable of carrying a nuclear payload had fallen on Polish soil, then it’s a shame. If he knew and tried to blame the soldiers, the Polish army, the officers of the Polish army, then it is a deep shame
– said Kosiniak-Kamysz.
He added that both are disqualifying, so Błaszczak must leave.
He can’t explain, he can’t answer questions
– said the head of the PSL.
The president of the PSL insults the head of the Ministry of National Defense
He further stated that “it is not the minister’s goodwill whether or not he gives an explanation.”
It’s his duty. One of the functions of parliament is the control function over the Council of Ministers (…) the Prime Minister, the Council of Ministers, is accountable to Parliament. Such a statement is a violation of law, duty, violation of the Rules of Procedure of the Sejm. He should come and explain to his deputies and opposition deputies, because all deputies have equal access to this information.
– said Kosiniak-Kamysz.
This shows that he does not want to say anything about it; he’s shaking, he’s really talking about it
– added the head of the PSL.
In turn, the MP and former head of the Ministry of National Defense, Tomasz Siemoniak (PO), wrote on Twitter that “Minister Błaszczak only came to the secret meeting of the Defense Committee and the secret services regarding the Russian missile to declare that he had no time for it and left with meetings, which were immediately closed by the PiS chairman.
He is a defense minister who escapes responsibility for state security and engages in compromising games. He is afraid of the truth, he is afraid of the army, he is afraid of opposition deputies. He is the last person to be entrusted with something serious in times of crisis and war
Simoniak wrote.
Head of PSL: I’m surprised we’re a bigger enemy to those who support KO than PiS
The head of the PSL was also asked about the words of Szymon Hołownia, the leader of Poland 2050, who stated in an interview with onet.pl that President Andrzej Duda “never in his life appoints Donald Tusk as prime minister”.
I see he got a lot of hate for that too. I see that there are many of these emotions in some of those who – especially on Twitter – have been supporting PO or KO since the time the Third Way was created. I’m surprised because we’re on the same side. We wrote in the statement that we want to form a government with the democratic parties that are in opposition today
Kosiniak-Kamysz replied.
It amazes me that today we are a bigger enemy to those who support KO than the ruling party is currently an adversary. This is surprising, amazing. After all, if we get a weaker result, PiS could go back to ruling alone or with the Confederacy
added the chief of the people.
On April 27, Hołownia and Kosiniak-Kamysz announced a joint start of both formations in the upcoming parliamentary elections, and in May announced that their joint election commission would be called Third Way – Poland 2050 and Polish People’s Party.
Missile at Bydgoszcz
At the end of April, the Minister of Justice announced on Twitter that the prosecutor’s office had started proceedings regarding the remains of an aerial object found in a forest near Bydgoszcz. The Ministry of National Defense reported that the remains of an unidentified military facility were found about 15 km from Bydgoszcz.
On May 11, the head of the Ministry of National Defense stated that “procedures and response mechanisms in the case of the object found near Bydgoszcz were working properly up to the level of the operational commander.” He accused General Tomasz Piotrowski, the operational commander of the Polish Armed Forces, of not informing him or the relevant services about the missile that had entered Polish airspace. According to the minister, the December 16 report, which he received from COD, contained information that on that day “no violation or exceedance of the airspace of the Republic of Poland was recorded, which – as it turned out – was false”. He added that any personnel decisions would be made after consultation with the president.
The BBN stated a day later that the information available to the president “does not justify personnel decisions” regarding the highest command staff of the Polish army, and the president has not received any request in this matter.

– It’s hot in Parliament! Błaszczak to the opposition: you have no moral right to talk about security. For years you have made Poland defenseless
— Przydacz: Information about the missile reached the president’s chancery too late. The Americans and British also overlooked what was happening
