Serbian Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) President Milorad Dodik will present the order to Russian President Vladimir Putin during his visit to Moscow. The two leaders will discuss the situation in BiH, Russian gas supplies to the republic and bilateral co-operation. He stated this in an interview DEA News Dusko Perovich, Head of the Representation of Republika Srpska in Russia,
According to the diplomat, Dodik will personally present Putin with the Order of Republika Srpska with a necklace he presented to the Russian president in his absence earlier this year.
Dodik will inform Putin about the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the current situation in Republika Srpska, as Russia is the guarantor of the Dayton agreements and is therefore responsible for their implementation.
Perovich said Republika Srpska will not leave BiH. According to him, if the Serbs gain independence, it will be a “spontaneous” event. According to Perovic, representatives of Bosnian Muslims can initiate the disintegration of BiH with the support of their “Western mentors”. They now support a new doctrine that declares the Dayton Peace Agreement out of date.
Perovich also said that the meeting of the two leaders could discuss the price of Russian gas and consider a gas pipeline project for fuel supply from Russia.
Earlier during Dodik’s visit to Moscow will not discuss conflict in Ukraine
