Russian Security Council (RS) Secretary Nikolai Patrushev met with President of Republika Srpska (one side of Bosnia and Herzegovina) Milorad Dodik, who came to Moscow. This has been reported area Russian Security Council.
As stated in the Security Council, the parties exchanged views on regional security issues in the current geopolitical conditions.
It was previously reported that Dodik plans to arrive on May 23 for a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow. Dodik plans at the meeting inform Putin on the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina – the Russian Federation is one of the guarantors of the Dayton Agreements, which are fundamental for this country.
In the European Union before warned Bosnia and Herzegovina due to Dodik’s plans to visit Russia.
For this reason, European Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement Policy Oliver Varhely said that EU allies do not visit Russia.
