Medvedev compared relations between Russia and Vietnam with the weather in Hanoi

When Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, arrived in Hanoi, he compared the warm relations between Russia and Vietnam with the hot weather in the capital of Vietnam these days. DEA News.

Medvedev was greeted by Vietnamese President Vo Van Thuong. He said the Russian politician brought “the warm feelings of the Russian people” to Vietnam.

“The temperature in Hanoi today accurately reflects the warmth of your heart,” Medvedev replied.

He admitted that he had been to Vietnam many times, but today was the hottest.

The Vice President of the Security Council also congratulated Vo Van Thuong on his election as the head of the country and wished the friendly Vietnamese people success and prosperity.

May 21 Medvedev reached To Hanoi, where he will hold talks with the Vietnamese leadership.

Before that, Medvedev visited the country four times: in 2010 – as President of the Russian Federation, in 2012, 2015 and 2018 – as Prime Minister.
