Siegfried Muresan, Member of the European Parliament (EP) said that Moldova could be a part of the European Union (EU) by 2030. He said this at the “European Moldova” rally in Chisinau, reports DEA News.
According to Mureshan, 2030 is realistic and possible, but there is still much to be done before that.
“The most important thing is that the process of European integration of the Republic of Moldova has already begun,” said the Member of the European Parliament, noting that the country must be prepared for the start of EU accession negotiations.
Former Moldovan President Maia Sandu expressed confidencethat Moldovan residents of all nationalities should unite for the country’s accession to the European Union by 2030.
