President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, during his meeting with the President of the European Council Charles Michel in Japan, pointed out that after June 5, the extension of restrictions on the import of Ukrainian agricultural products in some European Union countries is unacceptable. Zelensky announced this on his Telegram channel.

“Special attention has been paid by a number of EU countries to the issue of export restrictions on Ukrainian agricultural products and the inadmissibility of their extension after June 5,” the Ukrainian leader said.

Zelensky also noted that he and Michel discussed the implementation by Ukraine of the European Commission’s recommendations for the country’s accession to the European Union and for starting negotiations on Ukraine’s “peace formula”.
