Russian President Vladimir Putin will discuss the progress of spring field work in Russia on Thursday, May 18, and will also meet with the Governor of the Khabarovsk Region, Mikhail Degtyarev. This was announced by the press secretary of President Dmitry Peskov.
“Putin is considering starting a meeting soon on the progress of the spring fieldwork, it will be via videoconference. Peskov said that together with the Minister of Agriculture, they will be communicating with the governors.
He noted that the Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev will speak at the meeting. The meeting will discuss how the spring field work is going, and an overall assessment of the situation in this sector of the economy will be made.
Peskov also said that Putin will meet with the President of the Khabarovsk Region, Mikhail Degtyarev, on May 18.
Also press secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov approved extension of the grain agreement by 60 days. According to him, various options are currently being worked out for Rosselkhozbank as part of a grain deal, equivalent to SWIFT unblocking.
