Bloomberg: G7 and EU actually recognized Russia and China’s success

The G7 is set to launch plans with EU member states to involve a select group of countries in what they call a global “war of proposals” with Beijing and Moscow. transmits Citing Bloomberg. According to the agency, the G7 and the EU are developing a strategy that will enable them to convince states in an intermediate or neutral position of the benefits of cooperation.

As noted, the plans of Western states in particular relate to South Africa, Brazil, Vietnam and Kazakhstan. Agency sources say the program’s goals include high-level cooperation, better coordination between existing infrastructure projects, and individual action plans for each country identified as a “key partner”.

“The move is tantamount to acknowledging that China’s elaborate diplomacy and infrastructure investment supply, as well as Russia’s supply of weapons, nuclear power technology, and fertilizers, are failing the West’s calls,” the article says.

The agency stresses that the sources have noted that the G7 has made a slight shift from a primarily democratic values-based approach in favor of strengthening organizations’ proposals in areas such as trade and security.
