Prime Minister says Moldova will withdraw from CIS agreement on data exchange on border protection

At the meeting, the Moldovan authorities decided to terminate the agreement on the exchange of information on the protection of the external borders of the CIS member states. It has been reported DEA News referring to the country’s Prime Minister Dorin Recean.

“The decision has been made. I would like to state that compliance with such an agreement today carries a risk for Moldova,” he said.

According to him, it is necessary to explain that these agreements are no longer practical.

Interior Minister Anna Revenko also stressed that Moldova does not need to exchange information on border protection. This is explained by the fact that Ukraine wants to withdraw from the CIS.
