Macron denies that the French find him “humiliating”

French President Emmanuel Macron has objected to what the French have often called him “derogatory”. He expressed this in an interview he gave to the TV channel. TF1.

Macron emphasized that he always tries to establish contact with citizens. Therefore, he constantly tours parts of the country, despite the protests that accompany his visits.

Macron admitted he was generally harsh, but vehemently denied accusations of “humiliation”. To him, being truly insulting means not listening to people and lying to them. Macron assured that he was always telling the truth.

The President of France emphasized that if he truly despises his country and its citizens, he will think only of himself and will not try to talk to people and do something for their well-being.
