“We are very different from the opposition, which is mainly concerned with some personal matters or barren attacks, ritual attacks on Law and Justice,” PiS’s Bartłomiej Wróblewski said on wPolsce.pl television, commenting on his party’s weekend convention.
Just organizing a programming convention, 5,000 participants, several thematic panels. We are very different from the opposition, which is mainly concerned with some personal matters or sterile attacks, ritual attacks on Law and Justice. The mere fact that the congress has already taken place is therefore a strong distinguishing feature. The second point is what President Jarosław Kaczyński said. These three proposals have been tailored to benefit almost everyone in Poland. Exchanging 500 plus for 800 plus, ie an increase well above inflation, every Polish family, where there are children, will benefit greatly. Medicines for seniors and for children and adolescents – again, almost every Polish family uses it. First free highways, then also private. (…) Each of us has parents, has children, travels on highways, buys in shops, transport prices are, among other things, the resultant of highway prices. Three very strong announcements
– he said.
Kaczynski’s words
When asked about MP Henning-Kloski’s statement, which recalled Jarosław Kaczyński’s words about the pro-inflationary nature of the possible indexation of 500+, Wróblewski replied:
I feel sorry for Mrs Hennig-Kloska and the rest of the opposition, because they have to bully. First of all, the increase of the “Rodzina 500 plus” program will take place from January 1, ie when inflation will be sharply pulled down. Secondly, there has never been a statement of Law and Justice from the government that there will not be an increase of the amount of PLN 500 plus. I would like to point out that this is not just a revaluation, but an increase well above inflation.
The PiS Member of Parliament was also asked about the idea of persuading private motorway managers to abolish the toll.
I think there are several possibilities. First you have to negotiate with the managers whether they are willing to accept money in another form, in the form of grants. Another option is to buy these highway releases from the companies that manage them so that they benefit and don’t suffer. This solution ensures cheaper transport in Poland, cheaper travel in Poland and faster. Gates on highways are known for slowing down traffic
said Wroblewski.
