Turkey’s Supreme Election Commission (MSK) confirmed that incumbent President Tayyip Erdogan received less than 50% of the votes in the presidential election after processing 91.93% of the ballot boxes.

At the same time, Republican People’s Party candidate Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu got 44.79 points.
To win in the first round, a candidate must receive 50% plus one vote.
Sinan Ogan, the third candidate of the ATA Alliance, received 5.29 percent of the vote. Candidate Muharrem İnce received 0.43% of the votes and decided to withdraw his candidacy. However, the MSK decided that the votes cast to it would be counted as valid.
