Konstantin Zatulin, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Citizens’ Relations, told Podyom that Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has fallen ill.

The deputy added that the Belarusian leader was aware of his illness but did not disclose the diagnosis. According to Zatulin, there is no serious threat to the health of the Belarusian leader.

“There is nothing supernatural there, not covid. Only one person fell ill, ”the deputy shared with journalists.

Zatulin noted that despite his illness, the president was able to attend the Victory Parade in Moscow and held events in Minsk in the evening of the same day.

“He probably needs some rest, that’s all,” the deputy sheriff finished.
