Pope Francis met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in the Vatican on Saturday, May 13. It has been reported Vatican Press Service.

At the meeting, the Pope and the Ukrainian leader presented gifts to each other. The pope gifted Zelensky a statue with a branch of peace, and the president of Ukraine presented Francis with a painting of the Mother of God engraved on a bulletproof vest plate, the agency reported. ANSA.
Zelensky met face-to-face with the Pope for the first time since the start of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine. They had previously dated in February 2020.
