The representative of the ministry also noted that within the framework of the meeting, it was confirmed that he was ready to continue working together for the benefit of the two peoples. South Africa recalled its commitment to use appropriate diplomatic channels to discuss any issues that may arise during interaction between the two countries.
Moniela also said Pandor had a phone call with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. Details of the meeting were not disclosed.
