President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree on the withdrawal of the country from the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation with Belarus and the Russian Federation on cooperation in the protection of state borders, as well as on the termination of the Russian-Ukrainian agreement on cooperation and interaction in border matters. “Withdrawal from the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the protection of the state borders of the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation and Ukraine, signed in Moscow on April 15, 1994. Terminate the Agreement between Ukraine and the Russian Federation on cooperation and interaction in border matters, signed in Odessa on 3 August 1994. The document states that this decree comes into force from the date of its publication.
