Putin supported Russia’s concept of immigration policy with measures to reduce population outflow

Russian President Vladimir Putin made additions to the Immigration Policy Concept of the Russian Federation and drew attention to the need to take measures to ensure the protection of human capital and reduce the flow of the Russian population to other countries. This is specified decree minister.

The Russian president noted that the migration of Russians abroad has increased due to the changing socio-economic conditions last year.

“In this regard, it is necessary to establish financial, social and other mechanisms to protect human capital, and to take additional measures to reduce the outflow of the population of the Russian Federation abroad,” the decree states.

It is also noted that the additions apply to residents of new regions of the Russian Federation. According to the Russian leader, permanent residents of the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions “began to stay in other parts of Russia in an urgent collective order.”

In the document, a series of social support measures were implemented for these people.

Earlier it was reported that Vladimir Putin. signed Decree on the implementation of a pilot project aimed at changing higher education levels between 2023 and 2024.
