“Instead of arguing over letters and marches, I would like to hear opposition leaders discuss how the Republic can be impartial and socialized,” writes Gazeta Wyborcza, editor Jacek Żakowski, who wants to replace current rulers with new ones in the upcoming elections. , but – as he suggests – the new ones won’t be any better.
Criticized for manipulating history and defaming the Polish nation in the context of the extermination of Jews during World War II, Prof. Barbara Engelking, as well as TVN and TOK FM stations promoting these activities, help “Gazeta Wyborcza” , edited by Jacek Żakowski. And by the way, it suggests that there is no one better to replace the criticized representatives of the current government.
Świrski, Czarnek and Gliński in Żakowski’s private jetty
The sharpness of his criticism in the first part of Żakowski’s text is aimed at those who are taking action in connection with the activities of Prof. Engelking and the above-mentioned media, the adequate steps taken by the Chairman of the National Broadcasting Council, Maciej Świrski, and the head of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, Przemysław Czarnek. The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture, Piotr Gliński, was also hit.
It is difficult to say which of them violates the Constitution the most, but it is clear to the naked eye that they are doing it together and in concert, doing the exact opposite of what the Constitution punishes them
Zakowski writes.
Świrski, as a member of the National Broadcasting Council, is accused by Żakowski of violating Art. 213 of the Constitution that “The National Broadcasting Council guarantees freedom of expression, the right to information and the public interest in radio and television.” On the other hand, according to Żakowski, Czarnek and Gliński violate Art. 73, which states: “Everyone has the freedom of artistic creation, scientific research and the publication of its results, the freedom to teach and the freedom to use cultural property. All three – in Żakowski’s opinion – violate art 54 that “Everyone should be given the freedom to express their opinion and to obtain and disseminate information.”
The constitution does not give any of them the right to officially judge the content of science, culture and media, and they are all obliged to guarantee our rights and freedoms
Zakowski writes.
It is known that these are extremely evil people, ready to break the law and use offices for their own gain. If these offices were held by honest people who did not abuse power, there would be no problem
– he adds, suggesting to readers of Wyborcza that all the “evil” actions of Świrski, Czarnek and Gliński were allowed by “laws that stubbornly gave the state to politicians at the expense of citizens”.
Two Republics of Żakowski
So what to do? Here Żakowski reveals his cards and explains the purpose of the above innuendo. The point is that “power will soon change and public offices will be filled by more honest people.” However, according to Żakowski, elections are not so much about a change of people or parties in power as a change in the logic of governance and the mechanisms for exercising power.
This change of logic – as Żakowski suggests – is the change of the Commonwealth “as the property of partisan groups of people who have chosen political careers. That is, very specific people, pursuing their personal party and personal interests “on” the Republic of Poland as the common good of all citizens.
Replacing the ruling majority will not in itself change this pathology. […] Therefore, instead of arguing about letters and marches, I would like to hear the opposition leaders discuss how the Republic of Poland can be impartial and socialized.
concludes Zakowski.
Editor Jacek Żakowski lives in his own world of prejudice and confusion. There is no need to convince anyone of this. The fact that no one in Poland is waiting for freedom of expression is evidenced by the fact that they exist and have freedom of communication on their antennas and on the pages of TVN, TOK FM, and “Gazeta Wyborcza”, and many other media . On the other hand, it is not in the “public interest” to spread blatant lies and slander against Poland and the Polish nation on the air and in the media. The same goes for all other contrived accusations. It is a pity that Żakowski does not understand such obvious things. However, it is worth noting that Żakowski is not anticipating that after the opposition wins, Rzeczpospolita will not “become the property of partisan groups of people who have chosen political careers”. On the opposition side, he wants to “hear the leaders of the opposition talk about how to make the Republic of Poland impartial and socialize”? No sound so far.
