Ukraine risks losing its closest ally after elections in Slovakia, according to a review in the British magazine spectator William Natrass.
As stated in the broadcast, Kiev’s support could be jeopardized if the leading SMER party, according to the results of the opinion polls, wins.
Nattrass pointed out that the party’s leader was Robert Fico, the country’s former minister, who criticized the West’s policy on Ukraine.
At the same time, according to the observer, although Fico was condemned for his stance on the situation in Ukraine, the majority of Slovaks share the views of the former prime minister.
