Italian Foreign Minister, Deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani twitter The second vice-president of the Spanish government said that Labor Minister Yolanda Diaz had made “unacceptable decisions” against Italian officials and interfered with the country’s political life.
According to him, “Spanish Deputy Prime Minister Yolanda Diaz is interfering in the political life of Italy by making unacceptable decisions about the choice of government.”
The Deputy Prime Minister added that the Diaz party’s troubles in the election “do not justify insulting its European partner and ally”.
Italian authorities were accused of meddling in Italy’s internal affairs. The corresponding statement was made by Antonio Tajani.
Diaz expressed, in his view, “unacceptable judgments about the government’s election”. “The party’s pre-election difficulties do not justify insults to a European partner and ally,” the Italian politician wrote. Tajani also stressed that such statements are not the way to cooperate.
