The head of the Civic Platform, Donald Tusk, and the Mayor of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski, will participate in the next installment of the “Here is the Future” campaign, which will take place in Małopolska on Monday and Tuesday. The highlight is an open meeting with these politicians in the Wisła Hall in Krakow.
As part of the #Here is the Future campaign, the Civic Coalition club and Platform leader Donald Tusk are touring all voivodeships. KO parliamentarians have already visited m.in. Voivodeships: Śląskie, Opolskie, Podlaskie, Lubelskie, Kujawsko-Pomorskie.
A long-awaited meeting
On Wednesday, the head of the Małopolska PO, MP Aleksander Miszalski, informed journalists about the visit of politicians as part of the #Here is the Future campaign.
The time we have been waiting for has arrived and the residents have often asked us when Małopolska will be. President Donald Tusk, together with parliamentarians and also President Rafał Trzaskowski, will visit us on May 15 and 16
he announced.
According to Miszalski, a total of 110 KO parliamentarians will visit Małopolska on Monday and Tuesday. With them, about 120 gatherings of various kinds, communal and open, in about 50 cities were planned.
We’ll be almost everywhere; there are meetings in every poviat and our parliamentarians will appear in every poviat
emphasized the MP.
As he noted, private meetings will cover a wide range of topics and will be held with communities, eg local government officials, entrepreneurs, seniors, youth and farmers.
There will be no subject that will not be discussed
Mishalski added.
Open meeting
According to him, the highlight of the action “Here is the future” in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship will be an open meeting with the leaders of the group in the Vistula Hall on Monday at 5:30 p.m.
It will be an open meeting for everyone, including those who don’t necessarily support the Civic Coalition. Anyone can walk in and ask a question
noted the politician.
Member of Parliament Marek Sowa announced that KO parliamentarians will meet, among others, with the inhabitants of Trzebinia in western Lesser Poland, who are struggling with the problem of sinkholes.
We are dealing with a massive deluge of sinkholes and total inaction on the part of the government. Instead of helping, they decided to punish residents for leaving their homes
he stressed.
According to the announcements, there will also be representatives of the KO in agricultural areas in the northern part of the region, where meetings with local farmers are planned, as well as in foothills and mountain areas. They will also visit the largest cities in the region.
