Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov expressed his confidence that the elections to be held in Turkey will be fair and held without interference from other countries. He said this at the four ministerial meeting on Syria in Moscow. DEA News.

Seizing the opportunity, the diplomat wished his Turkish colleagues a successful general election. The Minister noted that the elections outside Türkiye have already begun.

“I am confident that they will be honest, transparent and will ensure the will of the Turkish people without any outside interference,” Lavrov said.

Presidential and parliamentary elections in Turkey will be held on 14 May.
