Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan agreed to meet in Brussels on May 14 as part of their efforts to stabilize the region and normalize relations between the two countries. This was reported on the website of the Council of the European Union. TASS.

Previously The Financial Times, citing its sources WroteIt was reported that the meeting between Aliyev and Pashinyan, to be hosted by the President of the European Council Charles Michel, will focus on Azerbaijan’s decision to place a checkpoint along the Lachin corridor.
This will be the first face-to-face meeting between the two leaders since the talks in Munich in February. Earlier, Armenia and Azerbaijan also promised to meet in Moscow, but a definite date was not agreed.
