Serbian Education Minister Branko Ruzic resigned after a gun attack at a Belgrade school killed nine people. It has been reported tanjug.
It was noted that the minister, who decided to leave his post, sent a letter of resignation to the Prime Minister of the Republic, Ana Brnabic, expressing “his deepest condolences to the families and relatives of the victims”.
“I will carry the dramatic pictures of school events, the tears shed as my condolences to the inconsolable parents of deceased children, as a seal in my soul for the rest of my life,” Ruzic said.

Prior to that, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic presented a series of drastic measures to improve gun control and school security following two mass shootings that resulted in deaths.
