Mayor Juan Guillermo Algado gave his presentation candidacy to Finestrat Town Hall with a big show celebrated in the house of culture. Alejandro Soler, PSPV-PSOE’s national deputy and provincial secretary general, surrounded Juan Algado in an action in which district mayors and mayors were also present.
Juan Algado in his presentation He was critical and asked himself, “What has the PP done for the people in these 16 years running? They didn’t do anything.” Finestrat’s problems can’t be from Generalitat. Finestrat needs a government that loves its people. I want a Finestrat that offers opportunities, has a future.”
In motion, Alejandro Soler thanked him for being invited to this meeting and gave him the full support of the socialists of the province of Alicante: “This municipality needs a future, the PP project is exhausted. The mayor thinks more about Valencia than Finestrat. We present a great candidate who is enthusiastic and has a project. The offer is excellent and it is possible to win. We saw the PP take root and abuse when it came to power. However, when there is a change, it shows. We have a great candidate with a project for the future. People have ideas that will improve their lives, and we have the approval of Generalitat management. We must encourage and excite the residents of Finestrat. Change is possible.”
The Secretary General also stated. “We socialists have done our homework. We have more than 20 million employees, we have raised the SMI, pensions are more honorable now.. Socialists are always on the side of the people. It was not an easy legislature, but we met the conditions,” he said. Thus, he concluded his speech by arguing that “Finestrat needs the Socialists to return” and “Finestrat needs a mayor who can improve the lives of its neighbors”.
