The presidential couple’s visit to London on the occasion of Charles III’s coronation was an opportunity to discuss security; President Andrzej Duda spoke with, among others, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, the president’s chancellery announced on Saturday.

King Charles III’s coronation took place at Westminster Abbey in London on Saturday; his wife Camilla was also crowned. The coronation ceremony was attended by heads of state from around the world, including the Polish presidential couple.
This event is also an opportunity to talk about politics and talk about security

The President’s Office reported that the President spoke with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda and Finnish President Sauli Niinisto, as well as the Danish Crown Prince couple – Prince Frederic and Princess Maria Elisabeth, with Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa and Italian President Sergio Mattarella.
The KPRP also informed about conversations of First Lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda: with the wife of the President of the United States Jill Biden, First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska and French First Lady Brigitte Macron.
On Friday, Andrzej Duda and Agata Kornhauser-Duda – at the invitation of King Charles III – took part in a reception at Buckingham Palace ahead of the coronation ceremony. The presidential couple also visited the Polish Hearth in London.
