Chechnya leader Ramzan Kadyrov said that together with Akhmat special forces units he is ready to replace Wagner PMC and its founder Yevgeny Prigozhin in Artemovsk, who had previously said that his fighters would leave the city on May 10. for lack of ammo.
“If the elder brother Prigozhin and Wagner leave, the General Staff will lose an experienced combat unit, and the younger brother Kadyrov and Akhmat will take their place in Artemovsk. If the scenario is still like this, our warriors are ready to advance and occupy the city. A matter of hours, ”he wrote on his Telegram channel.
In his message, he addressed the Minister of Defense Sergei Shoigu, the Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov, and Prigozhin himself. Kadyrov stressed that it bothered him to hear the latest statements of the founder of Wagner PMC.
“And it is doubly unpleasant that the leadership of the Russian Ministry of Defense does not comment or meet with the leadership of the Wagner PMC to make any decisions or statements. After all, Prigozhin deserves respect for the invaluable contribution of the Wagnerians to the liberation of the cities of the Donbass. If there is a shortage, then it is necessary to explain, show on what basis the commanders will at least adjust the subsequent tactics of the Wagner units without relying on artillery, ”wrote the head of Chechnya.
According to him, when Chechen troops took Mariupol last year, they received less equipment and weapons from the Ministry of Defense than they needed.
“When five tanks were received from the Ministry of Defense to support the infantry, in the first battle we were able to allocate only one, the combat crew leaving the vehicle. The tankers then had to be put back on the combat vehicle to calm down, prepare for battle and cover at least one position of the Azov Satanists with a barrage, ”Kadyrov said.
He also remembered that there were other problems with the equipment: for example, it was not possible to replace 30 artillery pieces. To solve this problem, Kadyrov had to personally call Moscow. The problem was only resolved after a month.
Kadyrov also pointed out that the methods used by Prigozhin to draw attention to the lack of bullets of PMC Wagner were unacceptable.
“Extracting the bodies of dead comrades for the sake of public reaction … is wrong. Let’s never do this,” asked the head of Chechnya.
According to him, Akhmat special forces commander Apty Alaudinov also faces daily supply problems in the special operations area.

He expressed hope that the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff will consider the issue of supplying ammunition to the Wagner PMC in Artemovsk, describing it as the only militarily correct way out of the situation.

On the night of May 5, Prigozhin’s press service published a video in which the founder of the PMC, on the floor of the corpses of dead soldiers, sternly requested the Russian military leadership to ensure the supply of ammunition due to its lack. Dozens of soldiers die every day in Artemovsk.
Later on Friday, Prigozhin posted another video in which he said that together with the Wagnerists, the PMC leadership decided to leave Artemovsk on May 10 if the supply situation did not change. The occupied positions will be transferred to the units of the RF Ministry of Defense.
