Civic Coalition politicians “defend” forests against – as they put it – “pests of PiS and Solidarna Polska”. After the convention of Zbigniew Ziobro’s party, which changed its name to Sovereign Poland, MP Adam Szłapka tried to shine. He hadn’t expected that answer.
The opposition “defends” the forests
Opposition politicians decided some time ago to take on the “defense” of Polish forests. KO MPs Klaudia Jachira, Urszula Zielińska and Agnieszka Pomaska, among others, argued at a press conference in April that Polish forests should not be protected by the European Commission, which is trying to strengthen their protection; Polish forests must be protected against pests such as Solidarna Polska.
Now MP Adam Szłapka tried to flash on the Internet, who wrote on Twitter about the cutting of forests after the convention of Sovereign Poland.
And after today’s conventional shrieking, @SolidarnaPL returns to her day job – cutting down Polish forests
said Szlapka.
Sovereign Poland responds
However, the opposition politician did not expect the answer that Sovereign Poland gave him.
Adam, do you have plastic furniture in your office?
— Zbigniew Ziobro was asked on the party profile.
Opposition politicians don’t seem to remember that it was Donald Tusk and Bronisław Komorowski who tried to sell Polish forests and include them in the compensation plan for Jewish communities.
European Parliament opposition members also voted against Polish forests in the European Parliament. Ewa Kopacz and Bartosz Arłukowicz, among others, supported the amendment of treaties so that Polish forests would be managed by EU politicians.
