Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov went to the Indian state of Goa to attend the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member countries, which is planned to be held in New Delhi on 3-4 July. It has been reported TASS.
At the meeting, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs are expected to prioritize the content of the next meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the SCO Member States, including the consideration of draft related documents and resolutions.
They will also discuss current issues on the international and regional agenda.
Lavrov plans to hold a series of bilateral talks with colleagues from India, Pakistan and China.
