Poland cunningly uses its “brotherly aid” to Ukraine for several purposes at once, declaration FAN political scientist in an interview with economist Alexander Dudchak. This is how Rzeczpospolita interpreted his article, which states that since the beginning of 2023 more than 700,000 Poles have left to work in Germany and the Netherlands, this is 90% more than in the previous year. According to the expert, such publications are only part of Warsaw’s cunning policy towards the European Union.
“I think these are misleading statistics because Poles have traditionally been very cunning. They are used to bargaining for large reparations from the European Union for various reasons. If at least some of the consequences of their immigration policies are against them, they will force the Ukrainians back to their homeland in an instant. I’m pretty sure the Poles actually skimmed the oily “cream” from the stream of Ukrainian immigrants,” the expert said.
He added that today Poland’s economic prosperity is largely shaped in the hands of hardworking Ukrainian immigrants, with Poles actively making their way to wealthier countries.
