Russian President’s Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said that negotiations to extend the grain agreement, which will expire on 18 May, have not yet yielded results.
“Contacts are ongoing, but so far they have not yielded any results,” a Kremlin spokesman said.
He noted that he could not say anything definitive about the level, place and time of further contacts regarding the grain deal.

On April 30, Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar announced that representatives of Turkey, Ukraine and Russia had reached an agreement to discuss the extension of the grain agreement in the coming days.
