Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the office of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, denied on Twitter information that Kiev was allegedly planning to strike Moscow on the anniversary of the launch of a special military operation in Ukraine.

“Publications like these that make obligatory references to ‘anonymous sources’ only serve a catastrophic function: they form public opinion in Western capitals, as if Ukraine were an unreasonable, childish and thoughtless country, as if it was dangerous for adults to rely on serious weapons.” Wrote in a post.

Podolyak added that the Ukrainian government approaches military operations with “iron mathematical logic”.

Earlier, the Washington Post newspaper found information about the plans of the Ukrainian authorities to attack Moscow and Novorossiysk in Pentagon documents that were leaked to the network on the anniversary of the start of the Russian military operation. Such a plan, known to American intelligence, is allegedly foiled in response to Washington’s demands not to escalate the conflict and not to provoke President Vladimir Putin to use nuclear weapons.
