South Korea to expand export restrictions to Russia and Belarus

South Korea has decided to expand the list of goods for which special permission from the government is required for export to Russia and Belarus to 798 positions from April 28, reported Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy of the Republic of Korea.

Previously there were 57 such positions, but from April 28, their number will increase by 741. DEA News.

The list includes industrial and construction equipment, products from the steel, chemical and automotive industries, machinery parts worth over $50,000, conductors, quantum computers and their parts.

It was emphasized that the Ministry submitted the draft amendment to the document on February 24 and made all necessary legal arrangements in the last two months.

Firms that obtained export permits before April 27 will not need to re-apply.
