“Poland is the nation that most strongly supports Ukraine’s war effort” – says Prof. Norman Davies in an interview with “Rzeczpospolita”.
Prof. Davies talks about the Polish Studies Foundation, of which he is founder and chairman.
After all, we want to bring our students closer not only to the image of contemporary Poland, but also to the past and historical circumstances. Anglo-Saxon students still do not fully understand the nuances arising from the difficult history of Central and Eastern Europe. Not only are they poorly versed in Polish issues, but they also struggle to understand the origins of the Ukrainian-Russian conflict. Nor do they realize how much the history of Ukraine is related to the history of Poland, and how the Ukrainian and Russian nations differ from each other.
