An open letter from Prof. Przemysław Urbańczyk, a medievalist, to “the petulant opposition leaders”. He “certainly” supports the opposition’s agreement, especially since Urbańczyk wants the leaders of opposition parties other than KO to burn in hell.
Mr Biedroń, Mr Hołownia, Mr Kosiniak-Kamysz, Mr Zalewski, Mr Zandberg (alphabetical order) and all the other, God forbid, “oppositionists”. For several days now I have been watching and listening to you with growing disgust as you climb to the heights of empty rhetoric to explain why you will not participate in the jubilee demonstration on June 4
– wrote Prof. Stedelijk. The rest of the text consisted of insulting the leaders of the opposition parties.
You are pitiful in your wounded pride of second rate politicians sulking for not getting invitations handwritten on handmade paper and attached to huge bouquets of roses
said the medieval man.
At the end, Urbańczyk wished the opposition leaders … to burn in hell.
I do not count on your reflections and in helpless anger I can only wish you, like Felicjan Dulski, to burn in hell – in your own company!
he blurted out.
A storm in the network after Prof. Urbanczyk’s text
Text by Prof. Urbanczyk caused an avalanche of reactions on the web.
A fantastic call for opposition unity by Prof. Urbanczyk.
What a pathetic call…
Now anyone can write an appeal, which is basically public puking and abusive people, and @gazeta_wyborcza will publish it? Without verifying the veracity of the statements (e.g. calling on @RobertBiedron to go even though he said he was going)?
The author of this bizarre text is a certain Przemysław Urbańczyk, a historian of the Middle Ages, and privately, as you can see, a passionate fan of the Platform. But what is the essence of the PO and the “elytas” gathered around it. Eternal sulking and a sense of superiority combined with the finesse of a flail…
Such conciliatory and communion…
Yes, beautiful, so unambiguous, I was touched. It will certainly work, as in the case of one list.
