Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky imposed sanctions on 25 Russian citizens, including relatives of billionaire Vladimir Potanin and family members of Senator Suleiman Kerimov. Presidential decrees are published on the website. TASS.
In total, there are 40 people on the sanctions list. In addition to the Russians, there are 8 Mali citizens, 4 Swiss citizens, 2 Iranian citizens and 1 unidentified citizen.
Restrictions introduced include blocking of assets, prohibition of participation in privatization, suspension of economic and financial obligations and other restrictive measures.
Restrictions on citizens on this list will be in effect for 10 years. According to TASS, sanctions against the citizens of Mali started to be implemented until 31 August 2023.
On April 22, the President of Ukraine also introduced Sanctions against Russian parties and the RF Central Election Commission.
