An unidentified assailant spilled red paint on the foundation fence of the Russian Embassy in Ottawa, damaging the property of the Russian diplomatic mission, said Vladimir Proskuryakov, Envoy Undersecretary of the Russian Embassy in Canada. It has been reported TASS.

“Another case of anti-Russian hostility occurred on the night of Monday-Tuesday, when an unknown person in a mask that completely covered his face poured red paint on the foundation of the embassy fence, thereby causing significant damage to the Russian embassy,” Proskuryakov said.

He stressed that the diplomatic mission applied to law enforcement with a request to find the intruder and a note was sent to the Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to ensure the security of the Russian embassy.
