Politicians from Solidarna Polska organized a press conference in the Sejm in connection with the adoption by the European Parliament of the “Fit for 55” package.
The European Parliament has adopted directives and regulations from the “Fit for 55” package, which should lead to a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions of at least 55 percent. by 2030 (compared to 1990) and climate neutrality by 2050. representatives of PO, PSL and the left.
The Civic Platform together with the entire opposition voted the day before yesterday for the imposition of gigantic taxes on the Poles. Poland must pay €180 billion by 2030 for the “Fit for 55” package, which was supported by the Polish opposition in the European Parliament

After Poland and Hungary threatened to veto the budget, the European Council adopted the previously negotiated conclusions setting out the criteria for applying the rule of law mechanism. On Wednesday, referring to Tuesday’s vote on the package on the i.pl portal, Climate and Environment Minister Anna Moscow stated that “Poland will not support any of the legal acts adopted on Tuesday by the European Parliament in the EU Council .”
