During the press conference, the Lublin Voivodeship Lech Sprawka referred to the inspections of technical grain from Ukraine in the voivodeship, which have been ongoing since November and December last year.
At the same time, we only test grain that has already entered Poland and has been allowed on the market as technical grain. We check that it has not, to put it ugly, “pupated” in food or feed, because in fact it has not been thoroughly tested, neither as feed nor as food, because it was technical, for example, for the production of pellets , for direct combustion, for the production of industrial
The Maker explained.
Technical grain
He emphasized that so far 24 companies have been checked on this point. He indicates that irregularities were found in nine cases. As he explained, it’s mostly about changing the purpose of grain from technical, mostly to feed.
Relevant reports in all nine cases were made to law enforcement by the Inspectorate
– informed the Lublin Voivode, with the reservation that due to the ongoing investigations he will not provide more information, for example about the name of the companies or the size of the practice.
Referring to Saturday’s regulation on the ban on imports of agricultural products from Ukraine, including The Minister of Grains, Sugar, Fruits and Vegetables stressed that from then on, the movement of these goods at the border was immediately stopped.
Not a kilogram of grain, not a kilogram of poultry meat, not even a single egg passed – both at road and railway crossings
noted the governor.
He explained that at the crossroads both in Dorohusk and Hrebenne there are no trucks with grain, while at the level crossings in Dorohusk and Hrubieszów “already in Poland, but not in terms of clearance, there are wagons – and in quite large numbers Because they cannot be withdrawn on the territory of Ukraine, because Ukraine cannot accept them for the time being.
He pointed out that, for example, on the LHS (Broad-Gauge Metallurgical Line) in Hrubieszów, due to the number of tracks, it is sometimes necessary to “technically avoid the wagons with Ukrainian grain in order to clear the way for trains with other products. , but later this train returns to its place.”
No wagon has been cleared at the LHS
– explained the voivode, referring to the statement of Agrounia activists that transports with Ukrainian grain still pass through the railway crossing in Hrubieszów.
This is not true
he noticed.
Transit resume
In the night from Thursday to Friday, the voivode received questions about the resumption of the transit of agricultural products from Ukraine. According to the announcement by the Minister of Development and Technology Waldemar Budy and the Minister of Agriculture Robert Telus, Ukrainian grain passing through Poland will be transported and controlled by the SENT system. Transports must also be sealed with electronic GPS seals.
It all depends on whether there are importers who buy grain in Ukraine and declare that they will transport it to third countries on the way. We are in the conditions of a free market and we cannot force anyone to do so
– noted Lech Sprawka.
I am more counting on the fact that large quantities will be re-exported, ie what has already entered the market has been admitted to trade in Poland and will be bought and sold to third countries with the participation of state-owned companies, including RARS, as part of under other humanitarian aid
– added the Lublin Voivode.
On Saturday, in the village of Łyse near Ostrołęka (Mazowieckie Voivodship), during the Law and Justice Convention on Agriculture, a package of solutions for farmers “Jarosław Kaczyński’s Concrete For Polish Village” was presented, based on a common purchase of grain, subsidies for fertilizers , and a ban on imports of agricultural products from Ukraine.
