The ruling Georgian Dream – Irakli Kobakhidze, leader of the Democratic Georgia party, said the country’s chance of obtaining EU candidate status in 2023 does not exceed 50%. It gives information about TASS.
“I can’t say that they (chance – socialbites.ca) are more than 50%,” said Kobakhidze.
He also expressed that he hoped that the political environment would eventually work in favor of Georgia and that he would be granted European Union candidate status.
According to Kobakhidze, whether the EU will grant such a status to Georgia will directly depend on the developments in the country.
