UN: Within the scope of the grain agreement, ship inspections have not been carried out in Istanbul for two days

The official representative of the UN Secretary-General, Stephane Dujarric, said in the briefing he held that there had been no inspections on the ships in Istanbul for the last two days within the scope of the grain agreement. It has been reported TASS.

“We openly report what happened. “There were no inspections yesterday and today,” he said.

According to Dujarric, representatives from Russia, Ukraine and Turkey are “actively discussing” the issue at the Joint Coordination Center in Istanbul.

The representative of the Secretary General added that the inspections were not carried out due to the “unconsensus” of the parties.

Earlier, RBC, citing the EU Delegation in Russia, reported that the EU believed the consequences of not extending the grain deal with Russia would be disastrous. Brussels noted that regretIf Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and the UN cannot reach an agreement to extend the grain agreement.
