Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a telegram to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un expressing his readiness to improve bilateral relations. It has been reported Korea Central News Agency (CTAC).
In a telegram, Xi Jinping noted that the DPRK and China are “good neighbors”. In addition, the President of the People’s Republic of China expressed his readiness to promote the development of friendly relations and cooperation and their continuous advancement to a new level.
The message emphasizes that the Chinese leader is ready to contribute to the strengthening of peace, stability and prosperity in the region and the planet, “To strengthen strategic communication and jointly lead the development of relations between China and North Korea, with Secretary General Kim Jong-un.
Formerly Kim Jong Un congratulated Xi Jinping will be re-elected as President of the People’s Republic of China. The North Korean leader stressed that “the two countries defend and advance the common cause of socialism by maintaining close support and solidarity.” He expressed hope that the friendly relations between DPRK and China will continue to “deep and develop”.
