Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi said that Cairo is ready to help stabilize the situation in Sudan and that the parties should sit at the negotiating table. It has been reported DEA News.
He stressed that the Egyptian side will not interfere in the affairs of other countries, as it believes that each state has its own internal characteristics.
Al-Sisi added that the Egyptian army stationed in Sudan came to the country for the exercise and did not support any of the parties. The Egyptian President also noted that Cairo is in contact with the parties to the conflict in Sudan.
“We are ready to provide assistance to stabilize the situation in Sudan,” said the Egyptian president.
Formerly Sudan Army reported on the expansion of military operations against detachments of the country’s rapid reaction forces (special forces).
The conflict between the de facto leader of Sudan, military commander Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, and the Sudanese armed forces led by the Commander of the Emergency Response Forces Mohammed Hamdan Dagalo entered an open phase on the morning of April 15.
