White House National Security Council strategic communications coordinator John Kirby said US President Joe Biden had instructed the Director of National Intelligence Avril Haynes to assess the damage caused by the leak of classified documents. It has been reported TASS.

“The President has instructed the Director of National Intelligence to conduct a systematic damage assessment across the entire intelligence community so we can better understand the full scope of what we are dealing with,” Kirby said.

Biden also instructed senior US administration officials to reach out to allied and partner leaders to “assure them of our commitment to protecting intelligence.”
