What is the purpose of the opposition’s “great march” recently announced by Donald Tusk? According to MP Mejza, the leader of the PO is calling for help, unable to accept the polls that are difficult for him.

PO leader Donald Tusk announced a large march “against kaczysm” for June 4. Are United Right politicians worried that the former prime minister will captivate the crowd and spark a wave of mobilization that will bring him back to power?
Mr. Editor, the only thing Donald Tusk has been “tearing out” lately is his hair, given the latest Civic Platform polls. I didn’t see his social media post as a call to march, but as a desperate cry for help. Research shows that even PO voters don’t want him as prime minister, which must have been a major blow to Donald Tusk’s inflated ego. He knows that no one misses him, and he clearly can’t handle that realization.
This grotesque march, which will only divide the opposition, rather than a wave of deported PO activists, may rather evoke a tsunami of memories of the PO-PSL regime, which was tragic for Poland and Poland. The date chosen by Donald Tusk is a good symbol that refers to his character – we probably all know the excerpt from the movie “Night Shift” and Donald Tusk’s lyrics: “Gentlemen, let’s count the votes”. This is the one bill that Donald Tusk has always been successful in – counting sabers to fight Polish patriots like the late Jan Olszewski.
So, do you think Poles don’t miss the Civic Platform rule? It seems that the PO leader, building a story about the catastrophe of your government (famous billboards all over Poland “PiS = expensive”), on the other hand, is counting on a positive assessment of his own seven years.
No matter how many millions PO spends on lying and manipulated campaigns, the truth will not be covered by colorful posters. When people actually say at gatherings that “Tusk means poverty” to them, they are talking about their own real experiences. About work for PLN 5 per hour, about unemployment reaching 25% in some regions, about forcing Poles to work until the age of 67, and in retirement – to live sadly for hunger benefits.
True human stories will not be spoofed by Donald Tusk, nor will the Poles realize that the record inflation in Germany, the Netherlands or even the US is not to blame for PiS, but the war in Ukraine, Putin’s energy blackmail or broken supply chains in a pandemic , and in Europe, moreover, huge, absurd climate taxes levied by the EU on energy. Poles understand this because we are a nation of wise and reasonable people.
This march may also be an opportunity for something else: the unification of the opposition led by Donald Tusk, which the Civic Platform community has long aspired to. Do you believe this scenario?
You have to give Tusk one thing: he can unite people. The problem for him is that he unites these people not around him, but against himself. Is there at least one politician in the opposition with whom Donald Tusk has not yet fallen out? In that respect, it is a phenomenon. Therefore, I advise all lovers of good humor to follow the report of this march, because this whole event can become a good cabaret.
Mr. Member, you voted to set up a commission to investigate Russian influence in Poland. Why? Is such a commission necessary?
For eight years, Poland was ruled by an extremely pro-Russian team led by the “Kremlin man in Warsaw”. Poles deserve to know the facts and facts about how Donald Tusk turned Poland into a weak state, connected to Russia by an energy umbilical cord. How he liquidated units of the Polish army in the east, how he paid off more than a billion zlotys of debt to Gazprom, how he agreed to an extremely unfavorable gas contract until 2037! Following his patron Angela Merkel, Donald Tusk built the strength of Putin’s empire after the aggression against Georgia or rather Chechnya. He completely rejected the policy of building Polish security and sovereignty, which he led until his tragic death. President Lech Kaczynski. Poles see it more and more, I will say more, MPs of the PO, who recently betrayed their attitude towards Tusk’s regime, see it perfectly. When information came about the appointment of a commission to investigate Russian influence in Poland, they immediately started calling for Tusk to be the first to be investigated by the commission. What does this mean?
We are talking shortly after the celebration of the 13th anniversary of the Smolensk disaster, which still raises questions, especially after the initiation in 2010. investigation by the Russian side. In this context, I will ask at the end what was the difference between the two so different visions you mentioned of conducting Polish affairs presented by Donald Tusk and the late Mr. Lech Kaczynski?
Two hundred years ago, Prince Adam Jerzy Czartoryski uttered such simple but brilliant words: in Poland for centuries we have had only two parties – Polish and anti-Polish. And this division continues to this day. Donald Tusk represents external forces who see Poland’s role as a Russian-German vassal, playing the role of decoration on the stage of the theater of superpowers. A vassal without a strong army of its own, without the right to vote. As a footstool for the Chancellor of Germany or the President of Russia.
On the other hand, the patriotic camp, whose visionary was the late President Lech Kaczyński, who today has a leader in the person of his brother, is an environment that builds a strong, just state that guarantees the security of its citizens. It strengthens the army, becomes energy independent from Russia and develops the economy almost the fastest in the EU. Poland, as he saw it late. Prof. Lech Kaczyński is a serious leader of the Three Seas Initiative in cooperation with the US. We must continue to build such a Poland guided by the political will of the late president and protect our homeland from the return to power of people who will bring Polish sovereignty to Berlin or Moscow in Biedronka plastic bags.
