It’s out of my head. Does left-wing MP Maciej Gdula … want rehabilitation of Polish communists from the interwar period?! His tweets are seriously amazing.
The New Left MP recommended a specific book on the Internet – we are talking about the publication of Łukasz Bertram entitled “Rebellion, underground, power. Polish communists and their political socialization until 1956″. However, Gdula (son of Andrzej, the PZPR apparatchik and deputy head of the Interior Ministry under Czesław Kiszczak) decided to focus in quite a significant way on blurring the image of Polish communists.
What do you know about Polish communists? If you read L.Bertram’s book, it turns out not to be much. They were Polish because they conspired like every succeeding Polish generation since the 19th century, they were communist because they put the party above the nation and the individual. They were rebels and they were conformists
Gdula wrote.
Rehabilitation of Polish communists?! The left MP’s reply to the comment that “from beginning to end they acted consciously on behalf of foreigners, against Poland” also makes sense, and specifically “for the Soviet Union”,
They certainly performed for a different Pole than the Sanacja. They saw Poland as usurped by the military and industrial elite. The USSR seemed to them a country of change, and it should be remembered that most of them were born in Russia. Many of them paid for this belief with their lives
Quite warm.
“Down with communism!”
These grotesque statements by Gdula elicited unequivocal reactions from commentators:
Down with communism!
Oh, so it will be that the University Library and Military Intelligence have fought against Stalinism, and the RvC, WSW and the Second College are defenders of democracy. It doesn’t fit in the pile when the son of the mainstay of communist security, fighting against the opposition, he tries to impress young people’s ignorance that a communist is a cool guy…
A new debate about Polish communists? Enemies of independent Poland, private property, Polish culture (because it is “civil”)?
The only difference was that, unlike previous generations, they conspired against Poland.
Let’s not be afraid – let’s face it: they were saints.
“I love it” when MP @m_gdula makes history.
Can you tell fairy tales about criminals and villains who enslaved Poland and served Moscow for decades? You can. Even with a smile and a diploma.
My father and the neighborhood children learned from their parents during the war to run and hide when they heard one of the words: “German, Russian, peperowiec”. I ask myself why? Perhaps the Honorable Member can guess?
Now let’s imagine that every other member of parliament wrote about fascists in the same way… Political adventure and storm guaranteed (and rightly so). And just in case, Prof. Gduli reminds you of Article 13 of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland and Article 256 § 1 of the Penal Code. There is no place for communism in Poland!
