Issues related to nuclear energy development in Poland and arms contracts for the Polish military are among the topics of Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki’s Sunday meeting with a delegation of members of the US House of Representatives who sit on the Energy and Trade Committee. This has been said by government spokesman Piotr Müller.
Important conversations with American politicians
The government spokesman informed on Twitter about the meeting of the head of government with a delegation of members of the House of Representatives.
As he reported, the meeting discussed issues related to the development of nuclear energy in Poland, arms contracts for the Polish military, US investments in Poland and risks arising from the current geopolitical situation.
This week Prime Minister Morawiecki visited the United States, where he met Mr. with Vice President Kamala Harris. According to the KPRP, the conversation between the Polish head of government and the American politician touched on many topics, including Polish and American involvement in security in Europe, energy cooperation and arms contracts between our countries.
During his stay in the US, Morawiecki also visited, among others, the factories of Lockheed Martin, the aim of which – he said – was to speed up the delivery of state-of-the-art US equipment to Poland.
